Do you have a favorite monster of myth or fable that finds itself missing from the legions of creatures in our bestiary? Would you like to showcase your talents here on the Cardlings website? Then take up the gauntlet of the Cardlings Challenge. Make your own Cardlings card! Here are the rules: Art must be 3.5 inches tall x 2.5 inches wide or of the same dimensions (we can always shrink your art -- but don't send something in any smaller than that -- it'll look terrible all blown up!) Absolutely NO nudity or excessively violent imagery/poetry will be allowed! Pick your favorite monster of mythology, illustrate it, and add a poem on the reverse side of the card. And that's it! All artwork will remain the sole ownership of its creator (you). We only reserve the right to display any images entered in the contest on cardlings.com with no monetary reimbursement. Winner will receive an autographed deck of Cardlings including all of the rare Familiar cards. Contest judging will take place thrice a year: April Fool's Day (April 1), Independence Day (July 4) and Halloween (Oct. 31). Entries will be judged based on quality of artwork, character choice and poem quality. All judges decisions are final. All entries are non-returnable, so send copies (if entering by snail mail) or in JPG format (if submitting electronically) to: Cardlings Challenge Don't forget to include your name, age, e-mail address (if available) and full mailing address when you submit your entry so we can mail cards to the winners. Good luck, and may the Beasts be with you! |
